About Tripper
Tripper is the fifth studio album by math rock band Hella, released August 30, 2011. It was their first release through Sargent House and their third instrumental record. Tripper marks the band's reduction back to core members Zach Hill and Spencer Seim, after having expanded to a five-piece for their 2007 release There's No 666 in Outer Space.
Tripper remains Hella’s latest release (not including the flexi disc single Santa’s Little Hella), and while the band has never officially broken up, it is assumed that Zach Hill’s focus on industrial hip hop group Death Grips led to the extended hiatus that continues to this day.
