"God Is a Woman" (stylized in sentence case) is a song by American singer Ariana Grande. It was released on July 13, 2018, as the second single from Grande's fourth studio album Sweetener (2018). The song was written by Grande, Max Martin, Savan Kotecha, Rickard Göransson and its producer Ilya. "God Is a Woman" debuted at number eleven and later reached a peak of number eight becoming Grande's tenth top-ten single on the US Billboard Hot 100. It became her fourth single to top the US Mainstream Top 40 airplay chart. The song also attained a top-ten peak within the charts of seventeen countries, including number four in the United Kingdom and Ireland, number five in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, as well as reaching the top-twenty in Austria, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. The song was nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.
