Blacklite District

Blacklite District (also referred to as BLD) is an alternative rock artist from the Black Hills of South Dakota. The sound of Blacklite District relies heavily on the influence of hip hop, pop, and classic hard rock. In 2017-2018, Blacklite District rose to YouTube fame with over 130 million combined streams worldwide after launching a Minecraft animated music video collaboration with YouTuber Rainimator and scored two Top 40 singles on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. Billboard premiered the acts video "Hard Pill to Swallow" October 2018, and "Me Against the World" in September 2019. Blacklite District released the latest album Souled Out on October 25, 2019 via AK19 Entertainment.
