Aelita by Mando Diao

Ælita is the seventh studio album by the Swedish band Mando Diao, released on April 23, 2014. It represented a new chapter for the band and the creation of a completely new sound and style, abandoning the garage rock influenced sound of their previous albums. It has a more synth pop/new wave style to it and features a heavy use of synthesizers, electronic drums, sequencers and keyboards. Most songs are composed on and feature the use of the vintage Soviet analog synthesizer "Aelita", after which the album is named.
