About Dan Spătaru
Dan Spătaru (Romanian pronunciation: [dan spəˈtaru];(Born October 2, 1939) in Aliman, Constanţa County –( Died September 8, 2004 in Bucharest) was a Romanian singer, most famous for thes songs "Drumurile","Nu m-am gândit la despărțire", "Pe drumul meu" and much more. Dan George Spătaru was born on October 2, 1939, in a family of teachers, Gherghina and Aurel Spătaru. He spent his childhood in Aliman, his hometown, in Ion Corvin and in Medgidia, with his big sister Puica (Maria Nicola) and his grandparents, farmers. Horses was the first passion as a child, later another passion emerged, much stronger, that of football. Dan grew up among his grandparents' stories and songs played by his parents. When he was 12, his mother died, and the two children moved to Medgidia with an aunt to fulfill the mother's wish "my children to learn a book." This is where Dan graduated from high school and started his football career. He evolved as a midfielder at the club "Science Bucharest".
In the third year at the "Faculty of Physical Education and Sport" he had to give up football, he had disc herniation. Then he dedicated himself to school and music. Dan Spătaru was a student when he started playing at "Student House" in 1962. He started with Italian music, which was fashionable. The love for music inherited it from the family; his father had played the violin. It was Camelia Dăscălescu who saw him. He listened to him once at "Mon Jardin" and did lessons with him. The first musical pieces performed by Dan Spătaru were by Camelia Dăscălescu. Once on a terrace he met Temistocle Popa, who made almost all the rattles. The first great success was with "Să știi măicuța mea" by Temistocle Popa. In 1972, he met his future wife, Sida, at the "Fantasio Theater" in Constanța. They had married in 1974 and had a child, Dana. According to his wife's testimony, Dan Spătaru was a "convinced family member" and "a model of a daddy."
He was a personality of the Romanian music world who stood the test of time. He taught us to accept his weaknesses and managed to leave his imprint on the voice stamp in the memory of each of us.A series of songs followed:Oare, oare
