Charles van Lerberghe (21 October 1861 at Ghent, Belgium, died 26 October 1907 in Brussels) was a Flemish (Belgian) symbolist poet writing in French. His poetry was set by Gabriel Fauré in the song cycles La chanson d'Ève and Le jardin clos.
