" - Hindustan Times, 2011.Anuradha Pal is a Tabla virtuoso, multi-percussionist and music composer who has been described as the "first professional female tabla player in the world" by Encyclopedia Britannica and the Limca Book of Records.A disciple of Ustad Alla Rakha and Zakir Hussain, she performed at the Woodstock Festival in 2008 with her World music band, Anuradha Pal's Recharge for an audience of 400,000 people. She has performed on All India Radio and serves on the panel of Indian Council for Cultural Relations. In 2017, she performed for over 1 lakh villagers in Balgram, Talluka Jath, Sangli, Maharashtra as Brand Ambassador of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Yojana.
