Thomas Dolby (eigentlich: Thomas Morgan Robertson; * 14. Oktober 1958 in Hammersmith) ist ein britischer Musiker. Obwohl er nur wenige Hits hatte, gilt er doch als einer der bekanntesten Vertreter der Synthesizer- und New-Wave-Musik der 1980er Jahre. Grund hierfür sind unter anderem seine geschickte Selbstdarstellung als „Funky Mad Scientist“ des Elektropop, aber auch seine für die damalige Zeit wegweisenden Musik-Videos.
