I Simple Plan sono un gruppo musicale pop punk franco-canadese formatosi nel 1999 a Montréal.
Vendendo oltre 7 milioni di copie in tutto il mondo con i primi due album No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls (2002) e Still Not Getting Any... (2004), la band è diventata una delle band pop punk più popolari degli anni 2000.
Nel 2008 è stato pubblicato l'omonimo Simple Plan, seguito nel 2011 da Get Your Heart On!, anch'essi di discreto successo internazionale. Nel 2016 è stato pubblicato il loro quinto album, Taking One for the Team.
Si sono esibiti ogni anno dal 1999 al 2005, nel 2011, nel 2013 e nel 2015 al Vans Warped Tour.
