Belle & Sebastian es un grupo de indie pop escocés formado en Glasgow en 1996.[1] Está integrado por Stuart Murdoch (voces, guitarra y teclados), Stevie Jackson (voces y guitarra), Chris Geddes (teclados), Sarah Martin (violín y voces), Mick Cooke (trompeta y bajo), Bobby Kildea (guitarra, bajo) y Richard Colburn (batería). Entre sus antiguos miembros se encuentran Isobel Campbell (voces y cello) y Stuart David (bajo). El nombre del grupo proviene de Belle et Sébastien, libro para niños de Cécile Aubry en el que se relatan las aventuras de un chico (Sébastien) y su perro (Belle).
